Draw a single loop around the grid using the numbered edge clues.

These puzzles engage different skills while you play. This does not in itself establish general cognitive improvement or replace professional care.

The challenge

Draw a single loop around the grid using the numbered edge clues.

How to play

  1. A number tells how many of that cell's four edges belong to the loop.
  2. The final line must be one closed loop with no branches or crossings.
  3. Tap an edge to cycle through empty, line and ×. Use × to mark an edge that is not part of the loop.
  4. Every point on the final path must have exactly two connected lines or none.

Advanced strategies

  • Zero clues rule out edges and 3 clues constrain almost the whole cell; do not close a small loop before reaching other clues.
  • Start with clues 0 and 3: they often settle many edges at once.
  • A point can never finish with exactly one line or more than two.
  • Use × to rule out edges and make your deductions visible.
  • The puzzle ends in one loop: closing a small loop too early is often a sign of a mistake.

History and background

Slitherlink comes from the Nikoli puzzle tradition: local number clues must produce one continuous closed loop.
